Meet Jesse Hancock, our March Member of the Month! Jesse joined The Root last July and has been a friendly presence at our Market Station location ever since. He founded Linked Property Group, where he and his team help provide beautiful and affordable homes throughout Tulsa.

What Jesse appreciates most about coworking is being surrounded by others who are equally committed to achieving their goals. His drive and positive energy are infectious. If you could have lunch with any fictional character, who would it be and why?

Tony Stark (Iron Man) He’s endlessly innovative. He’d offer valuable insight on business, branding, and problem-solving.

What’s the weirdest or most unexpected job you’ve ever had?

When I was 17 I worked at a graveyard mowing the grass, landscaping, and
digging graves. I was the youngest kid there so I was the one who jumped into the grave to square off the corners.

What’s something you’ve learned about yourself through coworking?

I like being around people who are also pushing themselves to achieve their goals. Even if we don’t talk, the energy is enough to keep me focused and motivated

What’s one piece of technology you wish existed to make your work life easier?

A smart house that can detect all issues, recommend repairs, and dispatch
vendors. I’ll talk to Elon about this one.

If you could instantly master a language, which one would it be?

Korean. (Visited S Korea once and it was the best)
