Today, Brett helps his team make smarter, faster decisions by turning data into action, proving that good data and great people are a powerful combination.

What’s your work story?
I’m the Director of Reserves, Data & Analytics for Jay-Bee Oil and Gas. My team works to get everyone in our company the data they need to make better decisions faster. I was a consultant for three years prior to this where I worked for a variety of companies from green energy start ups to training providers. I’m a mechanical engineer by education. I managed drilling operations in Oklahoma (and briefly China) for over 10 years to start my career before I shifted into data, analytics, and business intelligence.
