After five amazing years of supporting businesses and professionals in Oklahoma, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be stepping over the state line and growing our roots in the great state of Arkansas! Say hello to our very first AR location, nestled in the Athens of the Ozarks – Fayetteville. We couldn’t be more excited about this new chapter in our journey.
The Root Coworking – Fayetteville will be setting up shop at the newly constructed Class A Olsson building at 3537 N. Steele Blvd in North Fayetteville, located just off the Fulbright Expressway. We will be opening our doors to the great people of Northwest Arkansas in January 2025, with pre-leasing beginning in just a few short weeks!
Why Fayetteville?
Fayetteville isn’t just another city on the map. It’s a growing hub of innovation, creativity, and community—three things we value deeply at The Root. From the energetic local entrepreneurs to the remote workers and small businesses shaking things up, Fayetteville has an undeniable entrepreneurial spirit. It’s no wonder we felt a connection with this town right away.
Plus, with its blend of charming local culture, close proximity to the University of Arkansas, and a fast-growing startup ecosystem, Fayetteville is the perfect place for us to plant new roots (pun totally intended!).
A Preview of what’s coming to The Root - Fayetteville
The Root – Fayetteville will take over the full first floor at 3537 N Steele, and will feature 44 Private Offices ranging from 1- to 6-person in size, including 3 smaller Team Suites. The space will also feature 4 meeting room options to choose from, with our largest seating up to 12 people. In addition to these private spaces, we will have flexible shared seating areas and height-adjustable dedicated desks.
Amenities at this location include our in-house espresso bar, a wellness room, and who doesn’t enjoy free parking? If that’s not enough, our building is also within walking distance to some really cool NWA trails and bikeways, numerous restaurants, retail, and entertainment options (JJ’s Live – pickleball and live music, anyone?).
More than just a workspace
At The Root Coworking, we believe workspaces should be places where ideas thrive, connections happen, and creativity knows no bounds.
The Root isn’t just about providing desks, wifi, and meeting rooms. Our mission goes deeper. We believe in creating a true community—a place where people come together not only to work but to collaborate, innovate, and support one another.
At our Fayetteville location, you can expect a packed calendar of events designed to help you grow, learn, and connect. We’re talking about everything from themed happy hours and community events to professional development workshops and wellness sessions. There’s always something going on, and our goal is to make sure you feel energized, inspired, and ready to tackle whatever challenges come your way.
