Meet the co-founder and COO of Plannly, Alisha Harris! Alisha is all about being the best possible version of herself. You know those people who seem like they have it all figured out? Alisha definitely fits that description! She just has to have her vanilla oat milk latte each day—especially since she works well into the night at times. We are so lucky to have such a kind, innovative and ambitious person like Alisha at East Village.

Â
What do you do? Tell us a little bit about your company.
Â
I am one of the Co-founders and COO of Plannly. We are a digital health company that uses advanced event detection technology to identify critical events, that include life events, stress, burnout, and turnover for healthcare workers.Â
Â
What is the best investment you’ve ever made?
Â
The best investment I have ever made was in myself and family. Building and running a company is great, but this all would not work out if myself and family are not taken care of, both physically and mentally.
Â
What is your typical weekday routine?
Â
Dropping off my kiddos to school. Enjoying some alone time in the car while driving to the office because once I am at the office I am in either back-to-back investment, team, or client meetings. Once the work day is done, I am back to mom mode.
Â
What would advice would you give 17-year-old you?
Â
Trust the process. What you are doing now will help you in so many ways when you are in your 30s.Â
What do you do to get rid of stress?
Â
I take an Indoor Cycling class at Cyclebar. It’s one of my favorite places to be other than home and the office.Â
Â
What can’t you leave the grocery store without?
Â
Iced Coffee.
Â
What’s one song or artist that you’re embarrassed to admit you like?
Â
All the Enchanto songs. I’ll clean the house listening to them.
Â
What is one of your favorite things about being a member of The Root Coworking?
Â
My most favorite part about the Root is the meeting and sometimes collaborating with the other members here! Oh, and the coffee!
